President Barack Obama ordered all remaining U.S. troops in Iraq to bug out in 2011. He then began using our taxpayer dollars to train, fund and arm radical Islamic rebels to overthrow the legitimate government in Syria because President Assad wouldn't play ball on plans to build a natural gas pipeline from the south through his country into Turkey. Those same Islamic rebels Obama funded with your tax dollars quickly spread into Iraq where they have now gained control of at least one-third of the country in an effort to establish an Islamic State of Iraq and Al Sham ("ISIS"). ISIS rebels now control many of the military vehicles and equipment American forces left behind. Tens of thousands are dead and even larger numbers are now refugees. So Obama has ordered bombing strikes on ISIS-controlled territories to prop up what remains of the fragmented, puppet regime the U.S. government installed following the U.S. invasion of Iraq to rid the country of non-existent weapons of mass destruction, and provide humanitarian assistance for the growing number of refugees. A day after launching renewed military involvement in Iraq, Obama is heading off to Martha's Vineyard for yet another two week vacation. Will the American people ever wake up to the fact that most international crises are of our own making?
