Teen Mob Targets White Customers At Memphis Kroger
A mob of teens gathered in the parking lot of a Kroger grocery store in Memphis, Tennessee over the weekend and began targeting customers of the store as they exited their car with the game of "Point Them Out, Knock Them Out." When two teen-aged store employees attempted to assist one customer under attack, the mob turned on them. Two store employees were beaten unconscious after they were knocked to the ground, kicked and had pumpkins in excess of 20 pounds lobbed at their heads. A witness claimed the mob included both black and white teens, although only black teens are shown in a video of the attacks that was uploaded to the Internet by a witness. “Hold on, they got a white dude,” the woman filming the mob can be heard saying. “Look at ‘em. Let me get out the way.” As many as 11 teens between the ages of 14 and 19 have been arrested after the video went viral on the Internet according to the AP.
